Livescribe 3 Smartpen Announced for iOS Devices with IR Camera, Content Recognition Capabilities


Paper-based computing company Livescribe has announced the Livescribe 3, the latest version of its popular Bluetooth smartpen for iOS devices. The smartpen includes an ARM 9 processor inside and a high speed infrared camera at the top, along with an on/off twist ring and a lithium ion battery that lasts up to 14 hours.

kickstarter: iSketchnote digitizes your doodles to an iPad using a natural pen


iSketchnote has hit Kickstarter with an interesting take on the sketch digitizing game. Rather than drawing straight onto the screen of your tablet with a stylus,Galaxy Note or Wacom style, its iPad cover digitizer lets you draw in ink with a "natural pen" onto any notebook or paper.

Wacom unveils pressure-sensitive Intuos Creative Stylus for iPad


Wacom has unveiled the Intuos Creative Stylus for iPad. The stylus is a pressure sensitive device with 2,048 levels of sensitivity that Wacom says is as close to the experience of pen on paper as anyone has gotten on the iPad yet.

The JukeStyle is a great budget stylus for your iOS devices


The JukeStyle is a delightful 2-in-1 stylus for iOS device that gives you a pen/stylus combo for just US$10. Its precise, capacitive tip is great for doodling in DrawCast or Draw Something, though it still requires a little zooming in for more detailed illustrations. My Angry Birds scores have improved greatly now that my massive hands don't obscure the screen while I'm aiming.

Wacom Releases New 1.85-Inch Bamboo Stylus Mini


Wacom today released a smaller version of its popular Bamboo Stylus, the Bamboo Stylus mini, which offers up a thicker barrel with a much shorter 1.85-inch size.
